Announcing the Launch of the Rockers Media Network.

The Motor City Rockers are proud to announce the launch of the home everything Rockers hockey related, the Rockers Media Network.

The launch comes behind a shared vision throughout the organization on how to best present Rockers hockey to you, the fans.

The central element of the Rockers Media Network is the game broadcasts.

Director of Broadcasting and Corporate Partnerships Brady Beedon will serve as the voice of the Motor City Rockers.

"It feels great to be getting ready for Rockers hockey again," Beedon said. "The year off was tough, but moving to Wyandotte and the Downriver community as a whole has been more than exciting. I can't wait to bring the community pro hockey through the Rockers Media Network.

All 56 games, home and away, will air on the Rockers Media Network.

"Being able to broadcast each and every Rockers game is paramount to building a fanbase," Beedon said. "Being able to follow us whether we are playing in the Yack, or we are in Minnesota, Port Huron, down in Georgia, wherever we are playing, you'll be able to follow your Rockers."

Joining Beedon on the broadcast will be a sideline reporter for home broadcasts, and a studio host on road broadcasts.

The duo of Tom Cavanaugh and Brian Fisher will combine to fill the roll for the season.

Cavanaugh has a strong resume in the broadcasting field.

He has been featured on broadcasts for Wayne State, Macomb Community College, Saginaw Valley State, the USPBL, among others.

"I've worked with Tom for a few years now," Beedon said. "Any chance I get to add Tom to a broadcast, I know it will improve it. He has a strong work ethic, is very knowledgeable, and is just overall exceptional with a microphone in his hand."

Fisher will serve as the reporter and host on select broadcast.

Fisher is currently the host of the "Locked on Red Wings" podcast, and also serves as the color commentator for Oakland University hockey.

"Brian has worked with us in the past and done a great job," Beedon said. "With as much hockey as Brian has seen, he will do a great in this role. He has been a supporter of the Rockers for a long time, and we are pumped to have him working with us in a official capacity."

Alongside the game broadcasts, the Rockers Media Network will be home to other content, including weekly shows, video series, and more.

"Games are obviously important, but we are going to deliver a variety," Beedon said. "Having a spot to hear from coach and players is great for the fans. We also want to do some other video series that are a little more light hearted and fun. Give our fans a chance to see more of the personalities within the organization."

Producing all of this content will be Park Avenue Productions.

"P.A.P. started producing our content in the last season we played, and has only improved since," Beedon said. "Their owner Christian has done a tremendous job growing not only his own company, but pushing the boundaries of what FPHL broadcasts can be. If you saw what he did with Port Huron last season, it was darn impressive. I have no doubts that he and his team can bring the same quality Downriver. We have worked closely on cultivating what we want our brand and broadcasts to look like, and Park Avenue Productions will help get us there and beyond.

The Rockers Media Network will be housed on YouTube, making it free and accessible for fans to watch. Other affiliates will be added to the network before the season starts.

The first game broadcast on the newly minted Rockers Media Network is slated for Friday, October 16th when Motor City drops the puck in Minnesota against the Northern Lights.

"There has been a high standard set in the FPHL," Beedon said. "But we have the right people in place to give Downriver the quality they deserve."
