Clay Hightower returns to Motor City

The Motor City Rockers have signed forward Clay Hightower.


Hightower, a 25-year-old native of Carleton Michigan, played in parts of two different seasons for Motor City.

Most recently, during the 2024-25 season, Hightower collected a goal and two assists in five games for the Rockers.


A Carleton Michigan native, Hightower played high school hockey for New Boston United.


After his prep career ended, Hightower would move on to junior hockey.


In two seasons for the Detroit Fighting Irish of the USPHL Premier, Hightower amassed 134 points in 86 games.

Most recently, Hightower played in a pair of games for the Quad City Storm of the SPHL.


Hightower and Motor City are getting ready to bring pro hockey to the Yack arena. Puck drop is scheduled for October.
