Mike Winn Returns to the Rockers

The Motor City Rockers have recalled the rights to defenseman Mike Winn.

Winn, who spent the 2025-26 season with the Columbus River Dragons, returns to Motor City with six years of pro hockey experience.

Winn spent time with Motor City for parts of all three of the Rockers first seasons. During the 2023-24 campaign, Winn put up a career best 21 points in 43 games played.

Winn, an Ann Arbor native, also brings more size to Motor City. Measuring in at 6-foot-3-inches tall, and 181 pounds, Winn is yet another large body that strengthens the Rockers blue line.

Winn and Motor City will drop the puck in October, bringing pro hockey to Wyandotte and the Downriver community at large.
