Motor City Adds Young Forward Daniil Nikiforov

The Motor City Rockers have signed Russian forward Daniil Nikiforov.

A Moscow native, Nikiforov found success stateside in his hockey career.

Nikiforov spent three seasons from 2022 to 2025 playing youth hockey in the stats for AAA and USPHL Premier teams. Most recently, he found success with the West Chester Wolves, accumulating 31 points in 33 games.

Last year, Nikiforov spent time with HK Tambov of the VHL, the second highest league in Russia.

At six-foot three-inches and 190-pounds, Nikiforov adds another piece to the puzzle along the front lines for the Rockers.

Despite being just 21-years-old, Nikiforov brings experience from his time in both America and Russia to the Rockers.

Nikiforov and Motor City drop the puck on their season on October 16 on the road in Minnesota, before their first game in the Yack arena in Wyandotte on October 24th.
