The Motor City Rockers have recalled the rights to defenseman Doug Blaisdell.

Blaisdell played 29 games for Motor City during the 2024-25 season. In those 29 games, Blaisdell recorded a goal while tallying 16 assists.
Blaisdell, a Dearborn Heights native, spent last season with the Topeka Scarecrows where he helped man the blue line and sure up their own zone.
Blaisdell returns to the Rockers with a strong hockey pedigree. He played his junior hockey in the Ontario Hockey League, spending over four seasons with the Kitchener Rangers, and finishing his time in juniors with the Sudbury Wolves.

After juniors, Blaisdell spent four years playing collegiately in Canada at the University of Prince Edward Island.
Blaisdell brings a 6-foot-3-inch, 220 pound frame that will stand strong help Motor City in their own end.
