The Motor City Rockers have traded for defenseman Grant Bondy from the Twin City Thunderbirds in exchange for the rights to forward Nick Gullo.

Bondy, a Newport, Michigan native, spent time with four different teams during the 2025-26 season, spending time with the Watertown Wolves, Biloxi Breakers, Topeka Scarecrows, and finally the Thunderbirds. In his 47 combined games played Bondy tallied eight assists.
Prior to his rookie year in the FPHL, Bondy spent time in junior hockey in both the North American Hockey League and the Central Canadian Hockey League.
Once Bondy's time ended in juniors, he would play for both Aurora University and Florida Gulf Coast University.

Bondy and the Rockers season starts in October at the Yack Arena in downtown Wyandotte
