Rockers Add Blue Line Size with Arman Iritsyan

The Motor City Rockers have signed Russian defenseman Arman Iritsyan.

Iritsyan, a 24-year-old native of Russia, has played his entire hockey career in Russia, with a stint in Armenia mixed in.

Iritsyan most recently played with Torpedo-Gorky NN of the VHL, Russia's second highest league.
At six-feet five-inches tall and 214 pounds, the towering Russian will bolster what is already a solid defensive core.

A native of Moscow, Iritsyan's first hockey action in America will be in the purple and black.

Iritsyan and the Rockers drop the puck on the season on October 16th at the Minnesota Northern Lights, before bringing pro hockey to the Yack and Downriver on their home opener, on October 24th.
