Rockers add Gwillim between the pipes

The Motor City Rockers have signed goalie Jacob Gwillim.

Gwillim, a 28-year-old, has experience playing in the NAHL, USHL, and collegiately in the NCHA.


In his time at the junior level, Gwillim spent time with both the Johnstown Tomahawks, the Brookings Blizzard and the Muskegon Lumberjacks.


In college, Gwillim spent parts of three seasons with Aurora University.


In his best season, Gwillim totaled a 2.36 goals against while accruing a .924 save percentage.
Standing at 6-foot-3-inches tall, Gwillim adds size to the Rockers net.


Gwillim and the Motor City Rockers will drop the puck in October as they bring professional hockey to Downriver and the Yack Arena.
