Rockers add Lucchesi to Forward Core

The Motor City Rockers have signed forward Brandon Lucchesi.

Lucchesi, a native of Woodbridge, Ontario, has four years of professional hockey experience under his belt.

After playing junior hockey across Ontario, Lucchesi joined the Delaware Thunder, where he immediately made an impact, tallying 28 points in 36 games.

After playing just five games with the Elmira River Sharks in the 2023-24 season, Lucchesi would spend time with Jerusalem Capitals of the Isreal Elite Hockey League in the 2024-25 season.

Last year, the 26-year-old played the majority of the season with the Biloxi Breakers, putting up 16 points in 35 games.

Lucchesi would finish the season with the Melbourn Ice of the Australian Ice Hockey League.

At 6-feet, 207 pounds, the well traveled Lucchesi will help solidify a strong forward group for Motor City.

Lucceshi and the Rockers bring pro hockey to Downriver when they drop the puck on the home opener on Saturday, October 24.
