Rockers Ink Deal with DeVon Fields

The Motor City Rockers have signed defensemen DeVon Fields ahead of the 2026-27 season.

The former Adrian College standout, Fields brings a blue collar edge to the game.

Fields spent time with the Rockers during each of their first three seasons.

Fields quickly was noticed by fans and opponents alike for his hard nosed style of hockey, playing with a reckless abandon whenever he stepped on the ice.

Last season, Fields played in five games for the Indiana Sentinels.

Fields will embody the spirit of Downriver when he and the Rockers drop the puck in October at the Yack Arena.
