Rockers sign local product Jhuwon Davis

The Motor City Rockers have signed Southgate native and forward Jhuwon Davis.

Davis, a New England College product, has played in the FPHL for the last three seasons.

The 28-year-old, spent time last seasons playing for the Indiana Sentinels.

Prior to the Sentinels, Davis played for the Danbury Hat Tricks, Blue Ridge Bobcats, and Dashers Hockey Club. The latter is where Davis found the most success, during the 2024-25 season, Davis compiled 20 points in 37 games for the Dashers.

Davis and the Rockers are bringing professional hockey to the Yack and Downriver communities when the puck drops in October.
