Sneath Returns to Motor City in Trade

WYANDOTTE Mich. - The Motor City Rockers have traded Daniil Nikiforov for forward TJ Sneath.

Sneath, who played for the Rockers from 2023-2025, brings veteran leadership to the locker room.

In two seasons, Sneath tallied 76 points in 70 games. He also recorded eight points in six playoff games with Motor City.

Sneath returns to the Rockers sitting fifth on the teams all-time leading point scorers. He is currently 52 points behind Scott Coash for the all time mark.

Last season, Sneath spent the majority of his time in Topeka, where he was a point a game player, amassing 36 points in 35 games.

Sneath also played five games last year in the ECHL with the Utah Grizzlies.

The Chino, California native helped propel the Rockers to their first ever playoff series victory with an overtime game-winning goal against Danbury in game one of the series.

Sneath and the Rockers get the season started on Oct. 16 when they head out to Minnesota.

Motor City drops the puck for their home opener on Saturday, Oct. 24 when Port Huron comes to the Yack.
